This was one of the best gigs I have been to.

Elisabeth Fraser’s performance of Teardrop was unbelievable (22:35) and seeing Horace Andy performing Spying Glass live has to be one of the most memorable occasions of my life.

Exhibiting the sheer breadth of styles and skill he has, POSE makes sure he takes the time out to do a dedication wall to the recently deceased and all round king NEKST (D30, MSK).

Gotta love the final wall combining everything from graffiti, multiple typographical references and solid comic-book outlines.

Designed as a possible title sequence for a fictitious documentary, this film shows a history of the title sequence in a nutshell. The sequence includes all the names of title designers who had a revolutionary impact on the history and evolution of the title sequence.

The film referencesthe cut and shifted characters of Saul Bass’ Psycho title, the colored circles of Maurice Binder’s design for Dr. No and the contemporary designs of Kyle Cooper and Danny Yount.
