LeaLea Jones - The Road (ft) Horace Andy. AK47
![]()
Extended family LeaLea Jones teams up with one of the dance-hall, trip-hop and dub masters Horace Andy to bring you some very slick future dub stylings, mixed with her notably ‘cherryesque’ vocals.
Based in the east end of London, Jone’s has been working through the undercurrents of a growing scene cutting a LeaLea-shaped niche which does extremely well to embody the better side of an area rife with music and creativity.
Needing no introduction Andy has always been at the for-front of the roots, dance hall and dub scenes. Collaborating with the likes of Massive Attack, Horace Andy has releases a stream of very memorable albums and singles which have defined eras and styles. A personal favorite has forever been the title track on the preemptive dance hall classic Pure Ranking.
