Directed by Romain Gavras
This vicious offering from Hove and Kanye takes the unrest felt across the world and depicts the violence many countries have experienced with artistic and emotional presence only matched by raw news footage.
Shot in Prague by acclaimed French director Romain Gavras, the film uses striking Czech architecture and pure acts of desperation and antagonism to keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.
The track, off the duo’s first collaborative albumn ‘Watch The Throne’, has had a very good reception from critics and I can see why. The haunting synths and thumping bass line, create a real sense of fear, matched perfectly by Ocean’s hook.
Very slick and truly horrifying.
John Newman - Stay The Night (Unplugged)

Another soulful offering of acoustic goodness from John Newman.
The Future of Technology
Short concept film documenting the close relationship between technology dreamt up by writers and directors over the past 50 years which have directly influenced the advances in technology which are now part of our everyday lives.
I cut this as a brief intro for a presentation around the advances in entertainment technology, Robert Marsh was very kind in giving me totally free reign to play around with some potentially distracting editing and have final cut.
This is just a rough cut but when I have more time is something I definitely intend to come back to and re-cut especially with the recent release of Leap Motion and Volvo/Googles Driverless Cars.

Fake Smile - John de Meijer - Wayward Gallery

The Wayward Gallery
47 Mowlem Street
London
E2 9HE
Thursday May 17th
6-10
Kind Regards is proud to present the upcoming exhibition “Fake Smile” which will showcase a new series of works by Amsterdam based artist John de Meijer.
Meijer creates visual narratives that do not necessarily provide the viewer with a straightforward answer, but rather create more confusion. By doing so de Meijer provokes a gut feeling of slight mistrust and flirts with a nihilistic approach as part of the ongoing debate that he as an artist has with the surroundings he lives in.
The exhibition is a collaborative project between The Wayward Gallery, based in London and Kind Regards, based in Amsterdam.

Having opened for James Brown and lived a colorful lifestyle, Darondo records are high on the wants-lists of many collectors. Sadly about 25 years ago Darondo disappeared…

Man like Me - Squeeze | Official Video
Once again, pop/ska/garage/party lads Man Like Me have returned with yet another jumping track. Not ones to steer-clear of the wild and wonderful Johnny and Pete pose as two very questionable characters in this bonkers video, directed by Adam Powell.
The single provides the same fun-loving attitude the guys are known for, mixing nursery rhymes and funky pop production, this is no doubt going to be on everyone’s minds come the, inevitably short lived summer…
Released a few days ago on the 22 April on Cartoon Records, buy the single from iTunes here.
